I blame Saban's "Play for 60 Minutes" mantra. His team forgot to play in the minutes that came after 60. :hihi:

Which easy chip shot field goal are you referring to? The 48 yarder or the 52? LSU kept Bumma out of field goal range and their kicker missed two long high pressure kicks. That's not luck, that's good defense. Had they missed a couple from inside 40 I'd agree, but those were not gimmie field goals.

LSU didn't get lucky. Saban got outcoached. I'm thinking someone on that coaching staff knew that kicker couldn't make those field goals. They see him practice routinely. Why send him out there?

You have a good punter. Let him pin us deep since your defense is so good and we can't move the ball on them. /sarcasm

No way Les tries 50 yarders if he knows Alleman can't make them. Instead, Les would pull off the perfect fake for 20 yards and a first down. I wonder if Wing can throw?

Hey…I didn’t say that we didn’t deserve to win. I’m just saying we didn’t dominate that game and it really could of gone either way. Bama is a legit team that is every bit as good as us, anyone that thinks differently is kidding themselves.
Do I think we will win again if we see them in NOLA, sure I do, but I can easily see how someone can think that they are the best team in the nation…that is all.

From what I hear, he has a damn good arm for a kicker. I think that is why he is the holder instead of Lee or JJ. I’ve been waiting on a fake kick/roll out pass all year…or at least a run…we all know that the aussie can run

Exactly!!! No luck to it. We took advantage of the opportunities, they didn't.

there is no luck in going into Tuscaloosa and leaving with a win. especially when we are undefeated and number 1. We get everyones best shot. It takes a break now and then to run the table. Was Bama lucky that Jefferson didnt start? cuz thats the same kind of luck.

True dat. Maybe bama got lucky that Mr. Lowery got his ass kicked and JJ had missed the first few games. Maybe if JJ starts all year long, we would have run for 300+ the same way that Ga Southern did.
