Coach Saban always gives credit to the players and how much they have accomplished this year. He has been saying all week that this LSU game is about the players and doesn't want the emphasis to be on him. He really cares about our players and they know it. He also is quick to tell the fans how much he appreciates us. He has told us how much it meant to him and the players for the large turn out for the A games and how it's great to have the stadium full each and every game, and not just for the big games. Bama fans received a lot of grief for how we have supported our coach and our players with the large attendance and all, but he says that it helps with recruiting so we do not care what anyone else has to say about it. I don't think that other coaches in the SEC are afraid of Coach Saban, but I do think that some are jealous of the support that he gets. Coach Tuberville may not be afraid, but he is quite jealous of the support that Coach Saban gets from the board and from the full stadium of fans each week even for the smaller games.
C'mon BMH, why do you bammers run around saying such garbage? Just tell me, how do you know Tubs is jealous of Saban or his support? Have you ever met or talked to him? I go to Auburn practice when I am in Auburn. I went yesterday and talked to Tubs a good bit. I have never heard him anything bad about any other coach. So for you to say he is quite jealous of Saban and his support is just assinine. Wait unitl bama has a couple of bad years with Saban after a good run and see how much support he gets from bama fans. We have all seen that support evaporate at bama for Battle, Curry, Perkins, Dubose, Price, and Shula. Need I say more? Oh yeah I do...... Geaux Tigahs, Beat the Hell Out of Alarbammer!!!!!
This thread is about LSU, not Auburn or Alabama. Yes, Saban has just started giving his players credit. But that is something he hasn't been doing. I'm not jealous of Alabama's success this year. It's about time they start winning, cause they've sucked for the past several years. We suck this year.
