Rivals will release their final rankings after the All-Star games when they can see all the top talent on the field together in the game and in practice. Remember last year the DE that signed with Clemson (Daquan Bowers I think?) ended up being ESPN's #1 and jumped pretty high on Rivals as well after a strong showing.
Gotcha. Thanks, that makes since to want to see top talent against top talent and see who really rises to the top.
Michael Ford was named: Second Team RB, USA Today's All-USA football team he was beat out by Bryce Brown and Cierre Wood http://www.usatoday.com/sports/preps/football/2008-all-usa.htm?csp=34
Seeing you say that you expect ford in the top 30, if not top 20 in the Rivals 100 made me start thinking about this. I don't expect Ford to make it to the top 30, but I expect him to be right outside of it - around 40 or so.
I got him projected 4th best RB behind Brown, Richardson and Wood. Michael will fall. He is currently 4th.
Ford went up to #59 on the new Rivals 100. He also went up to the #7 RB -- he passed up Cierre Wood (#76) and Kendrick Hardy (not in Rivals100) -- and is only behind #1 Brown, #6 Richardson, #22 Michael, #40 Wilson, #56 Berry, and #57 Baker.
