LSU moved up 1 spot to overtake Bama for the #2 class overall. Came up just short of #1 Ohio St who only lost one prospect to Prep School. LSU and OSU have the same Avg. star rating at 3.79 both with 24 players enrolled. Bama lost 4 players with 23 players enrolled and ended with a 3.78 rating. The most surprising thing to me is that 14 of the top 50 programs lost zero players. LSU, UGA, and Texas were the 3 schools in the top 5 to not lose a prospect. LSU should jump to the #1 class overall on Rivals when there rankings come out which would give us #1 ranking on both Rivals and ESPN. Scout.com: Enrolled Team Rankings
Who were the 4 for Bama not to make it? I thought both Louisiana kids made it but I assume that Lacy/Sentimore had to be part of that group of 4? So Bama can just continue to sign kids they know won't make it just to get that #1 ranking. Sweet.
Only ones I can confirm are Orr, Petey Smith, and Dial. One Bama fan said it was only 3 and not 4 and Scout made a mistake.
They only had one not make it. The other three were offered greyshirts and accepted them. Darius McKeller.
Greyshirts do not hold football scholarships and would count in next year's class and enrolled rankings.
I was referring to the 4 that didn't make it versus what you posted. I thought bhelm meant they didn't qualify at all and maybe went JUCO/Prep versus accepting a grey shirt.
Looks like they got it right but I am not sure of the exact 4 guys who are not counted but Kellen Williams and Darius McKeller are also not listed on the Bama roster. Maybe someone who follows Bama more than I can clarify for us?
