B/c you started a thread on the Scout 100 and he is on there and is very interested in LSU? Is that...sort of fair?
You're right, I was confused by the specific title and national link. Hey, don't worry about all that stuff...now you know who the kid is and what size shoe he wears. :thumb:
From what I understand...Scout runs VERY slow in evaluating recruits. 2009 is way too far down the line to trust any info they release. Also, i understand that Scout is bias to prospects in the north. Ive also heard opposite for Rivals. They are better than Scout at evaluating prospects around the country..however, they are slightly bias to the south.
First I've heard of Scout being biased to northern prospects... maybe, but I've never noticed it. It's 100 prospects and it is submitted by local guys and then decided. I'd say that considering how much football they have left to play, the list is fairly accurate. Rivals has huge biases - mostly for schools such as USC, Texas, and Bama. Overall there may be some bias to the south, but that's tough to say because I'm inclined to believe that the south just generates more quality athletes.
Everything I've read about Davenport is that he's very raw & not dominant right now, yet he's continuously referred to as one of the top prospects in the state for next year. I wouldn't be suprised to see him fall to a 4 star, but he's got a lot of football left to play.
