I generally like him as a host on Sports Center, but lately I've noticed that him and his side kick spend way too much time covering the spread on mostly meaningless games. Stick to the big stories Scott.

You must have missed it, SVP and Stanford Steve have ALWAYS been about betting the games. It wasn't until a few years ago when ESPN embraced that fact that sports gambling is a thing that they started listing lines on the crawler and talking about it during other shows that they(SVP/SS) were able to be themselves.

SVP is one of if not the only thing I will actually watch on ESPN because as far as I can tell he hasn't been affected by the whole cancel culture/woke bullshit. It makes him happy to talk about it and it is genuine and that is something that is lacking in most sportscasting these days. Oh, and he fucking loves LSU!

Then ESPN needs to give him a separate 30 minute show dedicated to gambling, odds, & lines.
