Valid feeling I think, in the end its really hard to judge from the outside. We don't know what Brady really did, so we really don't know what we are replacing then. We have to make the leap that what they say is what they say.

But based on what Coach O is saying, they were looking for someone to focus in on 3rd down and red zone plays. And that is what some have written what Brady did during games. For sure there is also the WR coaching and QB coaching. We don't lose the playbook, and Coach E carries over some of those experiences as do the players. So I like the value added approach to think about this, it starts to warm up on you.

I do love the idea that we are adding new ideas and keeping the old ideas too. Of course we can all come back to this thread in a year and reflect. TBH if its another Canada we can all then start to fucking worry, but I think its probably just a NOT Brady thing over a Canada thing.

Here is the question though, if the offense struggles next year, its horrible. Who gets the axe or blame? Is Linehan to blame, or does Coach E take the brunt? I think it heavily supports that Brady was THE GUY if so. But lets say there is only a 50% drop off, 10+ wins and maybe a loss maybe we get in the playoffs or just miss out. Is that good progress for Brennan's first year? There are so many variables changing, it will be damn hard for Coach O. I am hoping that things go great and its all Winning for Coach O.

You are right this is a discussion board. Just amused by the chatter here especially about this new hire. All I know is we are not going 15-0 and win the title again next year. I will wait a full year or more to judge this hire. I haven't seen him call one play at LSU.
