Scott had 41 yards and a TD in Max Emfinger’s all-american high school bowl classic in Shreveport. http://www.shreveporttimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060106/SPORTS/60105017/1001
I had no idea the game was even played! Thanks for posting! Just curious, but did they have any other LSU commitments/recruits playing in that game other than Scott??
I didn't see it mentioned, but how many times did rushes did Scott have? 41 yards isn't much to brag about unless he only got 10 carries. It did say his carries were limited, but I would have assumed it would have been more than 10...
yeah...it's bad enough that some head coaches don't want their recruits playing in these games at all because of injury precautions...So I assume, that each runningback that participated got a few carries each...
Scott had very few carries because he's already committed. This game was mainly played so kids can get noticed, obviously Scott has already been noticed.
You'd think they'd post a box score or something, but hell no, stupid sportswriters... Link to article.
