I suppose its preferable to base your science on a pagan worship of the earth, to which the adherents of AGW bear more than a superficial resemblance.

This issue is not about science. It's too politicized to have any hope of being objectively measured. Leftists support it not because it is science prevailing over the Neanderthals as they arrogantly insist, but simply for its enormous political utility.

More foolishness that you can't back up. The worlds scientists have not gone away, the IPCC report stands, the climate is still getting warmer, the ice cap is shrinking, and the glaciers are retreating.

What have you go to offer? Nuthin'.

WTF are you rambling about? :insane:

The issue is ALL about science.

Politics has nothing to do with how science is measured. I challenge you to prove this absurd notion.

You understand nothing about science. Your entire objection is political.

WTF I'm rambling about is how ironic it is that the left, so quick to demonize opponents for their religion (as you demonstrated), devotes such a fervent and zealous effort in the defense of AGW. They make the most dogmatic bible-thumpers look like mass-attending old ladies. They label skeptics as "deniers".

No, this is entirely about politics, because the conclusions of the science have political consequences (namely those that the left is interested to enact), and for that reason no one trusts any scientific inquiry into the issue. They suspect an ulterior motive.

I understand a few things about science.

How can you look at Al Gore's foolishness and still think the issue hasn't been politicized? It's become utterly consumed by it.

all 100% correct. red likes to claim politics is not involved, then a few seconds later he is lobbying for cap and trade. then when questioned he pretends the issue is purely scientific. it is as if he has no idea that cap and trade is a political issue managed by politicians, not scientists.

I make a case with science and back it up with evidence. You have declined to do this, you just make political rants.

Then "they" don't know how science works. Not my problem.

    Then make a scientific argument.

Al Gore is not a scientist. He's a politician.
