But we did not lose B/C of D. D played really good enough the first half. Why? B/C the O moved the ball DECENT. WE had like 5 straight punts to start the second half. AUB also runs the hurry up. It screwed the D. WHY? OUR BLOWS.... I have all the faith in the D. AUB is VERY GOOD ON O. Cant leave the D out to dry so much. Still, D didnt play an A+ game, but they did enough.
Yep. We had really good field position several times in the 2nd half and couldn't do anything with it. You lose most of the time when you only score 17 points.
I look at it like this. We pin'd them 3 times in the second half for 1 score. We also failed to convert the Fumble. D played sloppy and Piss poor, but even on their "so called" bad day, they GAVE LSU a chance. It just makes me sick to watch the game be put in the hands of a HORRIBLE O.
Also on D, I think we just saw the youth come out... This was a game where LSU HAD to play THEIR assignments, and most of the time, THEY did not...
We heard all week how bad Auburn's defense is. We gained 243 yds on a defense that allows 386/gm. Oh, but how can we complain, when 7-0, about our offense being inept when our Defense and Special Teams will keep us in every game. When you don't play like you should against lower level teams, it does mean something.
I've never believed in this school of thought, however, WE LOOK LIKE ****. I know Miles has a TERRIFIC record at LSU, but I didn't date chicks in high school for who they were on the inside. Its all about looks.....and LSU looks like the ugly fat girl by the snack bar.
Simple au offensive line manhandled our defensive line. Au defensive line manhandled our offensive line. Defense couldn't plug the holes offense couldn't open holes up. Defense allowed cam too much time offensive line didn't allow enough time to throw.we were just beat in the trenches period
The D played well enought. You cant expect a D to constantly bail you out when the O goes 3 and out as much as we do. When the O cant sustain anything the D is always on the field. LSU has the most pathetic, predictable play calling with Dumb and Dumber at the helm.
