Say what you want but Les Miles is a good coach, man and recruiter

If Oregon shows up against Stanford, and OSU doesn't lay an egg at Iowa State where they had no business losing, no Dynasty for Alabama. Happens every year though.

 

Sorry but 3 NCs in 4 years says Miles can't hold Sabans jock, CUM is 2-0 in NCs and would've won another this season if Tressel hadn't screwed over the tOSU program but i'll agree on the others.

 

So you think Ohio State would have beaten Alabama? LOL

 

Probably not, but A&M did, so if OSU had gotten the chance to play for Big 10 Champ I don't think you would have seen Alabama in Miami. I think given 37 days off there are more than a few teams that would play the best game of their season in that game. We were given the chance and obviously the time off did LSU no good.

 

Well smarty pants... since tOSU went undefeated... I believe that had they been eligible, they would've smoked their B10 Championship opponent and then slaughtered ND. Bama wouldn't have been in the discussion.

 

I don't know if they would have smoked their big 10 opponent in the champeenship game. Possibly, but it's not like they kicked everyone's ass in the big 10.

 

Maybe not but since they put up 63 on Nebraska in the regular season, it's probably safe to say they would've won that game... remained undefeated, and then beat ND. Even if ND had beat them... there's two undefeated teams playing in the BCSCG... Bama is in the Sugar and no 3rd NC for the gumps.

 

The Big 10 was really down this year. Winning the Big 10 championship really didnt mean much in my opinion. CUM and the buckeyes probably would have bombed had they been eligible.

 

And THIS is the problem with the BCS. At least three teams from the SEC would win a game against either of those teams, but because there are so many giants lined up against each other, the best team in the country would have been left out. They dodged a bullet this year, IMO.

One more year of this crap, then we can finally get into some less smelly crap.

 

Or maybe just crap of a different smell...
