He's a knucklehead. He was effective with his mate from Ohio Bo Pelini. John Chavis is a huge overated "non producer"

Sorry man but I nominate this post as dumbest post of 2013 to date, maybe even of this decade. Non producer? Ninja please.

Yea, the D under Chavis has never been good.

    Consistently slipping in the rankings.

Les Miles is not a great coach maybe at a community college, it is obvious from the many bad decisions during games the past few years. The recruiting has been good because of LSU not him, it is a great school to go to and has shown it is committed to the athletes. I look for recruitment to fall because of Les Miles. The talent that Les Miles has had the last few years should have produced national championships.

I couldn't disagree more. I think Miles is a great recruiter. Cat could probably sell an igloo to an eskimo. He has had oogles of talent, sometimes more than he needs. The problem is he just isn't a very good coach. Good, dad, runs a clean program, all of the other stuff just keep the damn headset off of him. All of you sitting and waiting for him to make these "magical" changes, and hire this guy or hire that guy, yeah keep waiting because it isn't going to happen. It won't happen because he just doesn't think anythinig is wrong. It is also why we have this same discussion year after year.

I predict Miles will end his career as the recruiting coordinator for a large NCAA program. If he does not address the persistent offensive problems his program OBVIOUSLY has in the off season then LSU has peaked and the slow spiral back to where we came from will begin.

Despite my disappointment with the way Miles does/does not deal with obvious issues, I don't think there is a conspiracy theory going on. That being said, I will never forget the LSU bench during the NC game and the weird looks on LSU players faces EARLY in the game. The guys calling the game saw it and there was a brief spat on all the boards about some
dissension in the ranks. I think MOST of these defensive guys THINK they are making the right decision. I think Ford/Ware are just looking at how many touches they WON'T get due to numbers of guys on the chart. I think Brad Wing will be sorry when he gets a 16K FA signing bonus and works for per diem UNTIL/IF he makes a roster.

Funny. But Les just signed a 7-year, 25 million dollar contract, by which time he will be 65. I predict this is Les' last job.
