Regarding the scrimmage Saturday per DD:

Here are the stat leaders according to Dandy Don:

Would like to have heard something on Z. Lee. Not sure what's going on there.

Looks like the young rb's got some work and it looks like Patrick Peterson reaffirmed that he is the best player on this team.

Well, I think that maybe JJ was playing against the first team D (ie Patrick Peterson) and maybe JL was playing against the 2nd team (ie no Patrick Peterson) so the stats could be "skewed" in that regard.

I'm not sure if that's entirely accurate, but I read that PP was playing against the 1st team offense, so that's what I gathered.

This is relevant, of course, b/c I think that PP would pick off Drew Brees right now if he wanted to.

    Murphy at 6+/carry.

For sure #18 is up against the 1st team D.
    Folks that is huge-

Heard it was a very vanilla offense while they were working on the running game and a lot of special teams work. I Never take to much out of these things except for position depth charts and what kind of plays and who is being used in each role. Defense will always have the advantage in these because they know what is coming.

PP got the INT from JJ on a screen pass.

    Ware was working some wildcat.

Bailey and Zach got some work in.

Loston was running with the ones and looked good. Hatcher was out with an ankle injury I believe.

Lamin Barrow stepped in for Baker.

Wright had the most yards and a TD out of the WRs. Running against the 2nd team defense.

Biggest overall feeling was that we have great DBs all around. Don't be surprised if Mathieu gets some playing time this year.

PP did punt and kickoff return duties the entire scrimmage.

Heard Stampley and Dugas are front runners for FB? Is that accurate?

Still suspended but he can't really contribute anyway given the staff is not happy about his weight still. Stampley actually did pretty well last year given the circumstances. He can't block everyone who came through the line last year and JJ not getting rid of it didn't help either.

Im a little concerned that Blue and Ware, got more carries than Ford. I understand its just a situational scrimmage for the most part, but that stands out to me.
