i dont even understand what this comment means. milk is available in many places, including the store, perhaps i am missing something.
At Columbia university an Iraq war vet was giving a speach about starting a ROTC program. Students waved signs calling him a baby killer and such. These are the same democrats that have taken the Christ out of Christmas. These are the same kind of people who say that kids can't say the pledge because it is inflamatory. They are pro Marx more than pro American. We have graveyards full of dead young men who fought communism for decades and democrats see these former communist leaders as their heros. Everthing that is traditional American values they are aginst. They want to buy votes and import millions of illegal voters so they can be elected. Democrat progressives see everything American as bad and our traditions as bad. They look on people with religious beliefs as stupid rednecks. They take up for Islamic radicals and call terrorist attacks man made disasters. There is nothing progressives want more than to tear down the free market system that has made us the richest country on earth. I see them as anti American. Progressives are communist in disguise and spit in the face of all the former generations before us that made this country great. I will never vote for a democrat again and teach my son that all the left wing teachings that union teachers tell him like guns are bad and people who hunt with guns are doing a bad thing are wrong. If I had the money I would pull him out of public schools. Democrat progressives want this country to fail so it could be rebuilt into a socialist country. Traitors to the American way is what they are. Anyone that spits at an army vet in a wheelchair must be a democrat.
Formula that is most commonly made with cow's milk. So then her comment about the rising price of milk is relevant. I don't see where she said anything about the price of milk from the store. And if it was regarding groceries, formula is groceries too. I'm just saying, people that don't like her have enough material to make fun of without reaching for stuff like that. Kind of silly, I think.
making mrs obama's efforts to reduce obesity and encourage healthier life styles (especially in children) a joke and target of snotty remarks is just as reaching and silly. every first lady has a cause and that is hers. the right wing talk show hosts such as limpbaugh and palin are ridiculing her and making snide comments. like rush is really one to talk. :rolleye33: point being both sides are being snide and petty about things and it really is stupid and a turn off. at least it is to me.
That's kinda what I was saying. Politics is a big soap opera, with each side pointing and screaming at whatever they can find on the other. There's plenty of more important things to be worried about by all sides. And for the record, I don't see anything wrong with Michelle Obama trying to get kids to eat healthy. I'm sure it will motivate a number of them to do better. Just like a number of them will watch the same speech and then go suck down a double QB with fries and 2 gallons of coke afterward, because they felt slightly less motivated. It's their choice in the end, but kudos to her for trying. As far as Rush, I agree. Who cares if she ate some ribs with her kids? Not me. The trick isn't so much sticking to a strict list of things to eat. It's more about not eating 6 servings worth, 3 times a day.
Rush Limbaugh making fun of anybody's weight or figure! It's a miracle lightning doesn't hit him. Of course his fans claim he's so funny. He's just mean spirited.
