If Alexander is over his injury AND willing to play hard he would be a great pickup. I suspect he is just living the life right now though. They also could of had guys like Rudi Johnson, but I guess Deuce is a "Saint."
how about before the half they let Bush in on one of those plays instead of running the same play four times in a row or even let bush try to jump leap whatever you wanna call it in the endzone Hell put Deuce in the game
Tell me about I went ahead and started him in my fantasy team this week b/c they said he would get playing time.o::angryfireo::angryfireo::angryfire I blame Jason David for this. If he works out at cb than the Saints don't draft a cb with there second round pick. Matt Forte was on the board for the Saints to pick to replace Duce...... I think Forte is working out for the Bears.
Guess Sean Payton was pretty fired up about the lost. He dropped the f-bomb in his post game press conference. Gotta be happy he's getting fired up about it.
I thought I heard that.....$250,000 fine for WWL....wonder if Benson will pick that up? But seriously, I blame this loss on the o-line. Granted, the defense could be better (they were better than a week ago, I'll give them that). But that's 3 times in 2 weeks when we needed one frappin' yard at a crucial time, and our o-line can't move anyone.
100% disagree with your analysis. I think the ownership cares very much. Sadly, they are also clueless about football. Tom Benson bought the team because it seemed like a good investment and he felt an obligation to see that the team stayed in New Orleans (we're back in 1984 here). His first move was to hire Jim Finks, the first (and some might say only) real football person ever placed in charge of the team. Since Finks died, Benson's never been able to come up with anyone with that level of football knowledge to succeed him. That's the problem, not that they don't care. BTW, the Saints did draft a CB in the first round once (Alex Molden) and he was an unmitigated disaster, worse than Jason David, even. Speaking of David, he's one of 5 CB's on this year's opening day roster that have been brought in in the last 2 years. It's not like they're not trying. CB is just one of several big needs this defense had on draft day, and I think most people are happy with Ellis. And did you happen to hear what Aikman said at the start of the broadcast today? He said he's never seen a team with so many key players out with injuries after just 2 weeks as he sees with the Saints. Patience, clair, there's a lot of football left this year.
Sean Payton lost both of these games the past 2 weeks. 400+ passing yards and we call for runs on 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1.
I blame this lose squarely on Peyton. This is a total of 4 --- 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1 plays in the past 2 games, that we can not get. The result of those 4 plays are 2 loses. If Deuce is injured, IR him and get someone else. If he is not injured, why is he not in on these situations. I did not hear anyone ask him that question at the postgame press conference.
