that is 1,000,000% why I hate on the Saints so often. It has nothing to do with the players. It's the organization. It really is. Because their ownership doesn't care. So why should I? The Cowboys needed cornerbacks. In ONE OFFSEASON, they went out and got some, because Jerry Jones gives a damn. The Saints have been needing corners and a new defensive coordinator for what? 10 years? Yet they have never drafted one in the 1st round.
Saints should be 3-0 and really couldv'e beaten a top team in the AFC on the road it really has to hurt to lose two games like that. Now the Defense has to get ready for Mike Martz.
i know but he was drafted by the bucs i believe out of KSU? and didnt tuna cut him? i can see disagreeing with his philosophy as a head coach in the nfl but personally he goes about it differently than the usual standard blueprint. and thats refreshing and hes already been more succesful than any other saints hc in history during his short tenure. hes won more playoff games in one year than dallas has in the last 10. but its not reckless like mike martz . I find myself agreeing with most all of his calls. well until last year. this year hes still aggressive. i would have gone for the td from the 1/2 yd line in the first half as well.
don't know if he was ever actually "cut". I think he just was not brought back after his contract ran out and Folk came up. I am not fully sure. That's a good question. And about Payton, I like what he stands for. I like his aggressiveness, etc... I just think he doesn't adjust well in the heat of the game. The game plan you see in the 1st quarter is the game plan you see in the 4th quarter. It's great if it's working. Terrible if it's not. I am talking about defense and offense in this, btw, because even though he is a offensive guy, defense is still his banana, too as the head coach.
that never makes sense when guys dont pitch the ball and simply get tackled. wth are they thinking. you see it all the time. their agent must tell em to get all the stats they can.
thats a fair point. i dont know if hes trying to prove to us, bush, himself or all three that hes an inside runner. he seriously has to get over that. it aint happenin'. if the saints draft jacob hester they win this game today. that much i know.
If they draft Jacob Hester. If they sign Shaun Alexander. or how about this one? If they f'in play Deuce if he is healthy enough to dress out. If he is not healthy enough to get ONE carry, then he shouldn't dress out. And if he is not good enough to beat out Thomas and Bush, then cut him, because he is too expensive to suck that bad.
