After 10 straight L's,I would say the mirage looks much like salt water. Tasty looking but nothing worth pursuing. Perhaps this is the calm before the storm? Dunno but they are on the doormat of making franchise history.
I wonder if any team this late in the season with the kind of record San Diego HAD has ever gone on a 10 game losing streak? I have never seen anything like it. They were about a game or two from the best record in baseball. Then this? Wow. Is Colorado making a September to remember again? Would love to see them take their chances with Ubaldo in the playoffs. You surely couldn't dismiss them.
