Any word on his injury? This kid is one hell of a nice guy, talk to him on facebook from time to time and he is very friendly and has a great family too. Hope he is ok.
what can ya do? I think Miles said he wouldn't play next week in his post game presser. I hope it is something he can come back from in a few weeks. Huge loss going into next weekend. Legal but dirty play in my opinion.
My seats were close to the team, and he was in pain on the sideline. He came back in regular clothes with crutches. Not that that's any indication, but from the look on his face and his trainers it wasn't very good.
Radio during the game reported that it was just a sprain. But post-game radio said that it was a "serious injury".
I hope it's not a torn ACL, but that's what it looked like, from the "give" in his knee when they were testing it on the field and sidelines, even to the fact that he could put weight on it when he left the field. A person can, in fact, walk with a torn ACL, but it's one of the worst injuries an athlete can have, just because it takes so long to heal.
