Does anyone else agree that he might have been second in the Heisman race if he played in the SEC? Not demeaning him at all. But, again, when you run up against an ACTUAL defense, you don't get the gawdy numbers. Having said that, I'm sure he's a good guy...not bashing him. Just figuring.
He deserved the Heisman. However, OU had one of the better pass blocking offensive lines I have ever seen.
Yeah, but blocking against who...It's been said on this board. The Big 12 does NOT play defense. But, they were pretty good tonight.
Bradford was impressive. He is accurate and throws a beautiful ball. I can see why the pro scouts are high on him.
The Big X11 has great athletes, but their schemes revolve around bend but dont break. They have a couple of DE's that are better than anyone in the SEC and they were stuffed. He makes it look easy and makes throws that most guys couldnt dream of making. Could Tebow have won the Heisman if he played for OU? You could debate this for years.
IMO, Tebow should have gotten it. I don't really like FU and I don't really like Mr. Jorts, but after that one point loss to Ole Miss, he took the bull by the horns and really led that team. The dude deserves all the love he is getting. Now let's call him!
I totally agree with this. He throws a very accurate pass. But, week in and week out in the SEC when your backside stays on the turf half the time. There very well might have been more results like tonight. He will likely make an excellent pro. He reminds me a little of Matt Leinhart. He makes great throws, because he is rarely hassled. I know...unresolvable.
damn how bad does it suck to be a heisman winning record setting oklahoma quarterback come national championship game time. Bradford 0-1 White 0-2
I completely agree. He probably wouldn't have won it he he QB'd Georgia, Auburn, etc. But obviously its media driven, sooo. If anything it is fun to watch the Big XII people crawl back in their holes.
