Not only that, but on the offensive side of the ball, Sean Payton is dialing up all the right plays again. They are stretching the field once again. Something they were unable to do the first four weeks of the season.

Dunta Robinson, the Texans best corner is out for the season. Amazing how key players of Saints opponents are going down like this. Saints should be able to post close to 400 yards passing in that game.

That's a huge blow for the Texans. Not only my favorite player, but their best overall defender (arguable that Demeco Ryans is, but it's close regardless.)

The Texans have extraordinary issues in the secondary, so Brees should indeed have a field day. Beyond not having much talent there to begin with, they've gotten bitten by the injury bug worse than most teams (and not just in the secondary, really.)

The way Philly's season is going, especially with the entire Reid drug emporium situation, and that game being in New Orleans in week 16, it could be a pushover. The Bears could be mailing it in by week 17 as well, and the Saints could indeed end up 12-4.

The Tampa game at home is the big one, both teams should be 7-4 going into that tilt. Also, beating Carolina on the road seems nearly impossible for the Saints year in and year out. Those are the 2 questionable games.

I would be very happy to see the Saints win the NFC South Championship in 2007.

I would be very proud of them if they accomplished that . . . but . . .

    i don't see that happening.

The Tampa game at home will decide if the Saints will even have a chance at the division.

We'll know exactly where the Saints stand in 3 weeks. A couple of road games that the Saints should win and then the Tampa game at home.
