Brees just surpassed 40,000 career passing yards today...about to surpass Johnny Unitas (40,239) and Joe Montana (40,551)

Aww damn...we're putting in Chase Daniels now with 11:00 left....we need to get him experience but man I want to see Brees blow away the single season passing yards record away so badly that no one will ever come close to it...also Brady was only 100 or so yards behind Brees coming into today
He'll get it. Brady isn't going to throw for 500 today, and Brees now needs 304. He probably gets it next week and pads it against Carolina.
Just did a little figuring. Through today, Brees is averaging 4616 yards per season. He's 32 years old. Assuming he's got 4 more years, and can maintain that average, that projects to a total of 58,500 yards, enough for 3rd all-time (not figuring what Payton Manning, currently at 54,828 has left)
Packers losing to Chiefs wouldn't surprise me, this is the NFL, anybody can beat anybody any given Sunday esp being that every NFL team is basically an NCAA All-American team...also Packers defense is like dead last in the league in Total D...Patriots also in the mix for dead last in league with total D..more interesting to me is the Colts finally winning a game
