14-0 Houston The Saints looked good on the opening drive until Brees fumbled on 1st & goal at the four yard line. The second drive was promising but the refs didn't bother to throw a flag for tackling our RB...who didn't have the ball. :dis: Our defense has looked bad. Most of the yards have come against Oliver who has looked HORRIBLE!
Some punk Alabama player just started a fight with Devery Henderson. The clueless refs had to meet for several minutes before only throwing a flag on DH. (probably because he won) We still drove the field and scored. New Orleans 7 Houston 14

Houston has kept their starting offense in the entire first half. The Saints defense has missed more tackles than they've made. On the rare occasion the Saints have looked good a flag has surfaced. Saints 14 Texans 24 1:56 2Q
These defenses have looked really bad. The Saints have given up 24 points. The Texans have given up 14 and that would be 21-28 if not for the Brees fumble and the "no penalty" tackle on our other drive. We're even letting Matt Leinart drive the ball. YES...the little candyass Mattie Leinart. :dis: Even practice squad guys should be able to kick his ass.
Thanks! I didn't see much D in the first half. I was hoping we could build a little depth this year on defense. Last week was quite promising. This week has been ugly.
The D got dominated in the first half. The front four was no where to be found and the DB's not any better. Still a work in progress.
