They still need some coaching in the secondary, I know Joey Galloway is fas but damn he is like 55 years old.
On WWL this morning, Brees said that Pierre was fine. So it's probably nothing to worry about. Trying to figure out why we were without Deuce and McKenzie when they played in a meaningless preseason game. Hope they didn't get reinjured.
The only reason Deuce was activated was because of the injury to Stecker. Not sure about why Predator was out suited up! Although Porter handled his own, I am no longer worried about the secondary!
I think that's a bit of an over-reaction. The guy had a great preseason. Payton said in his press conference that Meachem just wasn't in the gameplan this week (whatever that means). He says that will not be the case for the entire season. I'm eager to see what happens when he gets his chance.
Not usually one for smack talk, but this quote was just too good to pass up. Reggie Bush on the juke on the touchdown run: "One moment he's talking trash, next he's on my highlight reel." I think that will be my sig for a while.
Meachem wasn't even activated this week. I think its going to be a weekly decision between him and Henderson. Consider....Colston and Patten are the starters, Moore and Copper are established special teamers, with Moore experienced in the 3, 4, and 5-receiver sets (Shockey will figure in the 4 and 5 sets as well). And so long as we have Thomas or Deuce, Bush will get time in the slot. There's not much room left for anyone else week to week.
