Saints vs. Steelers: game within the game

    Well, I was thinking the same thing, but then again it wasn't like we dropped interceptions or anything. The only play that could have been a turnover that wasn't was the fumble on the kickoff return right before halftime.

    The Steelers just played their most error free game of the season. Rotten time for them to do it.

    Agreed. But we don't have the defense that causes turnovers. I wasn't looking for turnovers to be handed to us, although you wouldn't hear me complaining neither. I just meant that we needed to get the pressure on to cause Big Ben to throw some errant passes and that didn't happen today.

    We really picked the wrong day to make some crucial fundamental mistakes on defense actually. If we play our bend but don't break style defense, then the Saints still come away with a win, even with the -3 in the turnover department. Up until today, the one big thing the Saints D had going for them was not giving up the big play.
