I hope you all are watching this game. after a bad start, the saints are rallying and are now down 6. Breese only need 61 to beat marino and saint are about to get the ball back with 4:09 in the 4th. The dome is alive!

they are moving fast enough to give breese another shot

 

if they score to go up 1, then get the ball back with the lead and the Saints still come out throwing, then the Panthers have every right to take a shot at Brees' knees because that'd be busch-league.

 

he only needs 16 yards, they could do it on one play and it not be offensive

I know this goes against the "normal rules".

But the Saints are out of it for the playoffs.

Should Carolina get to where it'd be a 35-40 yard field goal (a field goal Kasay won't miss), should they let the Panthers score a TD to get the ball back?

Because as-is, they might not get the ball back at all and still lose.
