Much different game as we expected... Brees is the mofo that can't play away from the homefield.

I know the offensive line has been horrible but Brees is completely choking away the season.

The receivers have a responsibility to get open as well. Moore and Meachem in particular, are of very little value in the passing game any more. Someone with WR next to their name on the roster has to step up and draw some of the secondary's attention away from Graham. When your top two pass catchers are a tight end and a running back, you're probably not threatening the defense downfield. The Saints WR roster has gotten old and in need of a revamp.

Sean Payton coaches this game not to lose. Loses football game. When will coaches learn.

What a choke job by this team at the end of the season.

I call bullshit. Against NE earlier in the year, he was throwing to win the game when he should have been running clock. It cost them the game. Here, he runs the ball to burn clock in order to avoid a repeat of NE. What do you want him to do? They lost with both strategies.

I just don't understand how we can shut Newton down all fucking game, but on the last drive, he somehow starts completing passes. And, we weren't playing apassive prevent D. We were as aggressive as we've been the whole game. It's so gahdamn frustrating!

    This, I agree with.

He forced Carolina to burn their last two timeouts by running the ball which obviously you have to do. But on that 3rd down, Carolina was obviously expecting run and I think you have to take a high percentage shot using play action to at least try and get a 1st down and ice the game.

Saints aren't going to win the SB anyway. They just aren't a physical enough team all around. This team is a year or two away. Bree's last shot.

Without the proper throwing lanes, Brees is just too short and makes too many dumb decisions when the pressure is on.

Couldn't agree more. Our receivers get no separation any more.

That's what I mean. He did that against NE and it backfired. At some point, players have to execute. This one is squarely on them.
I agree that we aren't going to SB. I don't think we're a year or 2 away. I think we're a couple of Olineman and a receiver or 2 away. If we can get that in FA, which is a stretch, we'll be contenders next year. The window is definitely closing.
