I wonder what the NFL will have to say about that jackass Charles Woodson not being ejected for throwing a punch. We invested in running backs and can't convert a 3rd & 1. There was your chance to tie the ballgame. :dis:
This wouldn't be so infuriating if we hadn't been hearing about fixing the defense's problems since week 2 of the preseason. No excuse to be getting whipped this bad.
My observations: Green Bay's offense looks great and it doesn't hurt that our defense is stinking up the joint. Our offense looks goods but still finds ways to stall drives just as they continued to do last year. Sproles is a keeper! We won't miss Bush. We still have huge issues with tackling. We're just not very good in that department. Our secondary plays 10-15 yards of the WRs and continue to get burned. Fortunately this is game #1 and we're playing one of the best teams in the league. If we improve we can be one of the best. If this is the best the defense has to offer don't be making any postseason plans. A few of these defesne players should donate this week's paycheck to charity. They surely didn't earn it!
Green Bay's secondary has gotten away with several early hits yet I believe the only interference was called on us. That drive ended because the PI on 1st down wasn't called. Win or lose...NFL refs really suck!
And I'm hoping someday, someone in the media will have the cojones to ask an NFL higher up why the Lambeau Leap isn't considered a planned celebration and therefore unsportsmanlike conduct.
