I'll admit that even though I've been saying that he shouldn't be traded, his play is forcing me to strongly reconsider that position. Inexcusable. I'm glad Payton sat him down for pretty much the remainder of the game. He shouldn't start anymore. Put Bell as the starter, he's earned it. Back him up with Thomas. He's earned it. Use Reggie as a slot receiver. I don't know if he should even return punts anymore, Moore is pretty good at that.

    Jets 244
    Saints 343

I would say it was a statemate between the Saints offense and Jets defense. That defense is relentless and reminds me every bit of the Ravens. Ryan is a defensive genius.

Saints defense totally dominated the Jets offense, giving up a single touchdown only after fumbling inside our own 35.

A friend of mine, the biggest Saints fan I know texted me "Black and Gold Super Bowl" after the game. Kinda catchy. Who knows, wouldn't surprise me this year. The D has moved forward for sure. Go Saints ! :thumb:

I'll admit, they've ripped up my heart over the years. Sure hope this is the year.

I know. I was in the stadium for their first game in 67. I've lived and died with them, mostly died. It still is confusing me when they use words like dominate, undefeated, best in the league in the same statement as the Saints. I hope I never wake up.

    Go Saints Go.

Me, too. I just hope they are still using those words when we have only 3-4 games left in the season, like they are 3-4 games into the season.

I was there in the old Tulane Stadium for a game as a kid. Still remember the "beer man" walking around hawking "Beer man here ... ice cold beer!" Go Saints ! :thumb:

why didnt Atlanta carry this game on TV when the Falcons had a bye?!!! i thought theyd always show a divisional foe if the home team wasnt playing? especially if they are good.

reminds me of the days when lake charles would show the cowboys over the saints. some coonass took out the station's transformer (or whatever you call it) with a rifle.
