Starting this early to point out that the line on the game went to 15 points yesterday. ESPN said that's the largest spread in Saints' history. Today the line is up to 16.
The article says they've been 14 point favorites 3 times in team history, and lost 2 of those. 2 of them were doing the Super Bowl season, the win over the Rams and the loss to the Bucs late in the year.
I'm really not worried. Coming off a long layoff after a loss that should have them pretty pissed off.
Settle for 3 on the opening drive. Payton errs.....55 yard screen pass to Ingram got into the end zone, but ruled out at the 10. Screen shot clearly showed he was in bounds, but Payton didn't challenge, so no replay.
Defense gets off the field after allowing one first down, Lattimore with a pass defense to end drive.
Nah, my bet is Ingram didn't protest, so Payton didn't. Play was on the far side of the field anyway. Shouldn't hurt.
TOUCHDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN THOMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 6 yard screen pass on 4th and 2.
