    This Sunday the Saints square off against a beat up Eagles team at Philly. I don't wish injury upon anyone but I'm glad that there is a glaring weakness in what I think is one of the best teams in the league. I would hate to lose this game and have the wind taken out of our sails. I like our chances against a McNabb-less or near McNabbless Eagles team.

    My prediction:

    Saints 38 Eagles 24

    Eagles signed Jeff Garcia today. He always seems to pop up somewhere to be a thorn in our side.

    However, I like your 38-24 pick. Just so I'm not repeating, I'll call it Saints 38, Eagles 27.Saintslogo

    I think we will find it a bit tougher offensively as Philly has a pretty good defense.

    Even so, I have it:

    I doubt seriously that Garcia is starting.

    He has to learn the offense, whereas Kolb is ready to step in. I know Garcia was there just 3 years ago, but new players have arrived (DJackson, for instance) and the chemistry isn't there.

    We should be able to get Kolb to throw a couple of INTs and pressure him.

    I like the Saints in this one obviously without Mcnab. It will still be a hard fought game. Philly has a sick D and forces teams to take what they give them. The o-line needs to bring their A-game and we can not turn the ball over period! SAINTS 31 EAGLES 27.

    Until I catch a FULL game, I feel I can't comment on the score. But I like the odds better without McNabb. Hopefully Reggie will forget last weekend and work on holding the ball more. SaintslogoSaintslogoSaintslogo

    I predict Reggie has a big day with 2 TDs (out of the 3 I predicted in my score).

    Marques Colston is going to have to get it together with the drops, because he is a tall physical wide receiver, and should have a big game against the smaller philly brian dawkins-less secondary.

    If the Saints offensive line dont play well, then its going to be a long game.
