That TD didn't surprise me. What surprised me was that some of the female LSU fans I was watching the game with start talking about how cute the Iowa QB was after he ripped his helmet off and ran down the field in celebration. That 2004 Saban-led LSU team didn't even have a defense as good as Mike Shula's 6-6 Alabama did that year (Alabama was #2 in the NCAA in Total D and #1 in the NCAA in Pass D that year). That year, LSU's scoring D was #4 in the SEC behind #3 Georgia, #2 Alabama, and #1 Auburn.
