    I agree.

When we sent in the FG unit, I was saying to myself you have to try to get this ball into the endzone before relying on Hartley. I just had a really bad feeling.

Atlanta could not stop us at that point. We would have likely gotten it into the endzone or at least inside the 5 for a real chip shot FG that even Garrett Hartley could not have missed.

Payton won't make that mistake ever again. Bank on that.

I think the ex kicker blew it big time, but Atlanta came into New Orleans against all this new found swagger that comes from being champs. It took a lot of grit to march down the field, after that miss. They ran the ball 8 straight times to set up their winning field goal, great O line play all day. What I especially took from the game was the defensive line and LB strength that is much more evident. The Ryan express looks like a leader with expectations. This team is on schedule but the Saints are good and they are champs, now can they return the favor?

I agree, but Hartley's miss was such a let down and given the fact that they were just worn out from being on the field all day, I think LSU's offense could've driven the length of the field on them them at that point.

Although a division game, it's just one of 13 that remain. We'll see them again in December and we'll have Sharper back for that one. However, I hope we find a running game between now and then because our defense is going to need the TOP switched back into our favor.

Good call, except you forgot to mention PR, slants, and deep balls. :hihi:

We went to the game with Allie, Dr. Beaugez, Sam, and Lisa (Mrs. Fanatic).

We were in the Poydras St. endzone about 10yrds yrds up; which happened to be where all of the Saints TDs were scored. It was hilarious when LM scored his 1st TD and did the dirty bird right in front of us. Of course, ATL got the last laugh.

Devery looks like he's back to his old ways of not being able to catch the ball unless someone is draped all over him and did Meachem even have a catch yesterday? I know we're deep at WR, but we've GOT to find a way to keep that guy (LM) in the lineup. All he does is make plays.
