It's already time for the 1st division rivalry game of the season. There are many things to watch. Matty Ice, Tony Gonzales,Roddy White, John Abraham, Michael Turner and even Jason Snelling.

The thing to watch with us is our lack of RB's for this game and can we start throwing some points on the board like we're known for.

This should be interesting. Wish I were going.

This may be a good thing until we can get Ivory back. I say we win the next two handily while Brees is forced to rely more on the passing game. The year he almost broke the yardage record we put up 40 points a game mostly through the air. Problem was the defense gave up 41 a game. :hihi:

I know it's a capital offense to criticize Brees, and this is not necessarily a criticism, but I've noticed that he has been a bit 'off' on his deep throws so far this year. He had 2 over 20 yards against the 49ers - one to Meacham and one to Shockey - where they were both open, but the passes were uncatchable and one against Minn.

That said, I'm sure it's just early season rust. If you've ever seen that Sports Science youtube clip, you know that Brees is one of the most accurate passers in the NFL; especially for throws 20 or more yards.

I could feel the wind in San Fransico from my living room. It looked like it was really efecting his long pass. I think we'll see a different Brees game 3.

I hope we see a rushing defense. And cover the flats. That's all I care about this weekend.

Look for Lance Moore to have a big game.

Remember last year when Reggie was out? Lance Moore was the guy that caught all those balls out in the flats and screens and bubbles and whatnot.

I've got Brees throwing for 340 yards and 3 TDs.

    Saints 37, Falcons 26

'A dirty bird can't fly with a broken wing'. Awesome commercial.

Agree. Offense gets back to normal today even with Bush out.
