Love the blitz call from Allen, didn't allow Cowgirl receivers to get downfield to even have a shot at the ball.
Tonight's win over Dallas is HUGE!!! If Drew Brees is going to be out from 6 to 8 games the hope was for Teddy Bridgewater to hold down the fort and win from 3 to 4 games and keep the Saints in the running. With the win tonight Bridgewater is 2-0, both against quality teams with Seattle on the road. Next 4 games are home vs Tampa, @Jaksonville, @Chicago and home vs Arizona. Only Chicago should be a big challenge and QB Mitch Trubisky left today's game with a shoulder injury. Then the bye week followed by home vs Atlanta when hopefully St Drew will be back in action. And what can I say about the defense. Limited Ezekiel Elliot to 35 yards on 18 carries and kept the pressure on Dak Prescott all night. I have been critical of Marshon Lattimore but tonight he played his greatest game as a Saint, If Amari Cooper ever buys a snuggie he should name it Lattimore. And Vonn Bell was a total beast. 7 solo tackles, 3 assists and 2 forced fumbles and recoveries. WHO DAT WHO DAT WHO DAT WHO DAT BLACK AND GOLD TO THE SUPERBOWL
The Texans, Rams, Seahawks and Cowboys are a combined 1-3 against the Saints. For the rest of their schedules, they are a combined 10-2. Saints are flat out playing ball!
Vonn Bell has become a major ball hawk. Lattimore had his best game since his rookie year. They talked a lot about him wanting to step up in big games, but its the first time in awhile he's done so. Needs to continue this play. Demario Davis and David Onyemata have become big time players. Nice to see Rankins back, and I think his presence sparked Malcolm Brown to better things. He played very, very well last night. Talking heads talked about how the cowgirls are so deep on the d-line that they are able to keep guys fresh through the whole game. When Rankins is fully up to speed and if Hendrickson comes back soon, we are in a similar position.
Davenport balling too... DD 56 is playing lights out... Best lb since Vilma, although I don't know if he is the defensive QB that Vilma was... Beast though...
