    4 months would have him missing about 10 games. Probably would need the other 6 just to get back in “football shape”. He’s basically gone for the season. He’d only be good for the playoffs at best. Big blow here and it’s not even August yet smh

    Don't know the exact date of the surgery, but assuming June 30, and assuming exactly 4 months for recovery, that brings us to week 8. Actually week 7, because the bye is week 6.

    The thing I read (and sorry, can't find the link) is that he was supposed to be re-habbing to avoid this, but didn't. That's why the late date for the surgery. Selfish player after he got paid.

    What I read implied he might actually have a fear of surgery and was trying to rehab in lieu of. Rehab didn't get the job done.
