At least Jason David is second team now and not starting.

Sluggish game, but good things in it.

Shockey and Brees looked good. I'm hopeful he'll have a comeback year this year.

Sounds like the Saints lost 41-0.

nah they won Vilma was ,as usual, a beast. The new D played ok overall. Jason David was exposed and embarrassed several times. Bush was weak, as usual. Pierre looked ok.

Very good drive to start the 2nd quarter by Brees and Shockey.

Just started watching the game on NFL Network (they didn't carry it live).

    2 things already.

The defense caused a turnover and ran back a fumble down to the 5. I can't remember seeing that happen too much in the Gibbs era of Saints defense.

Sharper laid out Coles on the 2nd drive.

That's something I NEVER EVER saw with jackleg Bloody Bullocks.

The Greg Williams era is officially ushered in.

Of note for the Bengals, Roy Williams is the starting safety and Dhani Jones is the starting middle linebacker.

    Egad!

Based on just those 2 facts, I will project the Bengals defense to be dead last in the NFL.
