Dude, you didn't know where Ms. Mae's was? Damn, I used to live in that bar. I lived four blocks away in college. It is shady as hell but they don't check ID's close (important when you're 19) and it's pretty laid back with pool tables and video poker. Oh yeah, and beer's are like 2 bucks. You'll see some characters in there.
Similar but less college kids for the most part. I never went to snake and jakes during the day and I'm not sure if it's even open but Ms Mae's is open 24/7. I actually didn't go to snake and jakes much at all. The Boot was the late night joint, along with F&M's and Grits. Obviously Ms Mae's is nothing like those.
Looking at the schedule in the beginning of the season I woulda circled this game as the game I wanted to win more than any. Drew tends to throw these guys more int's than anybody else. Time for some redemption Drew! You lost us the last 2 vs. 49ers...
See, everyone is prolly going to do what CS is doing, which I hope doesn't force RR to find another dive.
Damn, you're bringing back some memories, some were blackouts prolly, but been to all of those so many times that some memories stuck. Used to start out at Ms. Mae's, hangout there for a few hours, then move on to Flat Harry's, F&Ms, ATIIs, the Quarter, whatever.
I wouldn't call scoring 32 points at San Francisco against a top 3 defense "losing" the game. One of the two interceptions was on 3rd down and long from inside our 10 and he threw it 40 yards down the field, essentially a punt. I would still like to murder Gregg Williams in his sleep for that loss.
Williams for calling the defense and for putting Roman Harper in a position of failure. That's like asking Cortland Finnegan to guard Jimmy Graham with no help.
