That's the game. If the offense doesn't score 30 we can't win. Our defense can't stop anybody unless we have a lead. Today's grades: Offense: F Defense: F Special Teams: D Coaching: D
The Bucs are a very good team. They are strong in phases of the game that count. They did not allow a Sack. They did not turn the ball over. They have a good defense. They have a good offense. It's no wonder that they won the game today AND it's no wonder that they are the leaders in the NFC South. The Saints need to improve in all phases of the game if they hope to win the NFC South and reach the Superbowl. Today, the Saints are not the best team in the division.
One of the main reasons you don't trade up and draft an offensive player when your defense has so many holes
The Bucs played with a chip on their shoulders after that blowout last week. They were much better prepared to play today than the Saints.
Without a doubt. Apparently we didn't pay the refs enough. But with all our turnovers today, that was awesome we were in it to the end. But yeah, I miss the recent years when the saints dominated. But good news is the rest of the NFL besides green bay is struggling as well.
I'm not arguing with you at all. Just pointing out the fact that we will have a chance of getting some payback. I believe Sean not being on the sideline affected Drew's mind.
Oh I know...I didn't take it that way. I just hate when you hear announcers talk about how important late season games are yet the early season games count just the same. If you can avoid wasting opportunities early in the season you don't have to worry about the late season value. Just like last year we just let a good opportunity slip away. I hope it won't hurt us but it probably will.
