lol....crazy game. Got a little fed up with the announcers making excuses for Roethlisberger. But good things happen when you force turnovers and don't commit any, right?

True, but the D made it closer than it should have been with a couple of garbage time TDs and 2pt conversions. Still, any road win in the NFL is an accomplishment, especially after losing 3 in a row.

The big thing today is no picks from Drew and no fumbles.

drew brees 5 td passes on the road. outdoors. if only patrick robinson could catch he'd lead the league in picks. he had a hell of a game, though.

BR was overthrowing a lot of open receivers in the first half, though. If PR could only have caught a few of them.

Yes, but I'm not going to come down too hard on PRob. I think he dropped 3 ints yesterday? But that means he was in position to make an int 3 times, and he at least broke up the passes. That's a big improvement from him since the beginning of the season, when it was hard to trust that he could even find his way out of the locker room.

You're right, but it's still frustrating. You'd think he could come up with at least one of them. I mean, if Cam Jordan can get a pick, PRob should be able to at least go 1 for 3. Corey White dropped one too.

How terrible was McNabb on the telecast?

After Brees got sacked and the Steeler defense got called for a penalty, he said it was holding or pass interference.

Of course this is the same person who didn't realize a game ended in a tie if you didn't score in OT in the regular season.

    Jeez.

What a waste of the incomparable Thom Brennaman.

You think Rob Ryan will be back next year? Seems like every game, him and Payton are jawing at each other on the sidelines. Can't really blame Ryan for the injuries and lack of talent he's got to work with.
