Vilma is playing on smarts only. I can't understand why LB is such a hard position to fill. They have about 5 good ones in the whole league.

Perhaps you're right, but I know this. He's started 2 or 3 games this year (a couple when Kreutz was out injured) and the Saints rushed for at least 150 yards in each of those games. I agree that it's too soon to tell if he's the answer or not, but that's a pretty good start.

Saints are exposed. Average team who will finish 3rd in the NFC South. Carolina may catch them. They are that bad. Thanks for the Super Bowl, Saints. It's far more than I ever thought I would see, but this organization is unable to sustain greatness. An emotional team will beat them everytime. Saints may come back and win today but I'll read about it in the paper. If the opponent did not totally suck, the Saints would get blown out today. I cannot tolerate a sh!tty mental state for a pro team. Inexcusable.

    We will see.

I saw a lot of mediocre football today in Black and Gold. 5 and 3 is only one game away from being 4 -4, which is mediocre.

I can see with certainty that there will be no New Orleans Saints Dynasty in the NFL. That will not happen with this roster. Too many mediocre players for that to happen.

I SO agree. IMO, this team is LAZY. They thought they could just show up and win, without putting in the work to do it. Playing down to the opponent is a problem that has plagued this team lately and IMO, it's symptom of not wanting to work.

As of today, we are not a championship team and by that I mean the NFC South champions, much less the Super Bowl. Hopefully, we can turn it around and I'll be pulling for them to do it, but I don't think they will.

The Saints did manage to become the HOT topic of discussion in the NFL media, but, not in a good way. All of the talking heads are having a laugh at Saints expense.

I'm going to adjust my expectations and say that I'll be happy if the Saints can finish with a winning season. Thanks, Saints !
