I'm very excited about this pick up. Welcome to NOLA Mr. Sproles.

Phucking excellent. Absolutely stacked in the backfield. Guess LSU isn't the only ones.

    Darren Sproles Stats - ESPN

It took us less than 24 hours to replace the mighty Bush. :D Take a look at Sproles' stats. He bests the disgraced Heisman winner in every category on a per carry basis over his career.
    4.6 ypc rushing
    9.6 ypr receiving
    8.2 yds per return

And I thought he would be hard to replace. I'm glad Fanatic and 100% Tigerbred set me straight. :yelwink2: No hard feelings.
Now it's time to see what the little big man Sproles can do. He is sure to be a fan favorite when he first plays. People love the novelty of watching someone 5' 6" play with the big boys.

Sproles is electric when he has the ball in his hands and noticed he's still only 28 so should have a few more good years. I didn't even realize they were looking to add a player like him to replace Bush. The Saints backfield has a plethora of different weapons to rotate and attack a D.

Very nice move. Sproles is the great value potato chip, compared to Bush's Lays. Same flavor, better price, and you probably get more in the great value bag.

Have to say, the Saints hit the mother load on offense this year. If Atlanta doesn't grab some defensive help and I mean more than Mike Peterson in his 23rd season, could be some high scoring games with New Orleans.

Yeah, and a young 28 at that. What I mean by that is that he doesn't have alot of "mileage" on him. He wasn't an every down back so his legs don't have the wear and tear that many 28 year old RB's in the NFL have.

    I truly believe this:

    Sproles > Bush
