Gives us a safety net in case Harper doesn't fully recover and/or play well

Great deal at a good price

Saints couldn't intercept a ball to save their lives last season, so his playmaking ability is greatly needed

Never seen such an unathletic group of DB's playing Pro Football. They had no finesse or athleticism to go up and get a ball. Hopefully that will change.

How is Harper? Anyone heard anything about his recovery?

Around playoff time they were saying he was ahead of schedule, but who isnt? It is good he is not having complications, though. Harper was regarded as being one of the smartest college DB's and I think the Saints will realize he was a steal some day if he regains his health.

A friend of one of the posters on a Saints forum said they talked to Harper on a cruise they were on and said he looked like he had no body fat and that Harper told his friend that he would be ready for the start of the season.
