Payton has said that Kaesviharn was looking good and he's been working with the first team. Hopefully he'll be the week 1 starter.
Meachem was injured from the start last year so I think he gets a pass on that along with the playbook because he was a rookie. I have always felt he was given the short end of the stick way too early last year given the circumstances. I think he will have a long future in the NFL.
Hopefully Stecker can do as well as he did the last few games of last season, then we'll be ok until Deuce can come back.
Those who know me well would understand. I was a HUGE Saints fan. Lived and died with them. I nearly got divorced over them. They ruled my moods. Every preseason i was sure this was the year to turn it around. It never happened. They'd get better than digress to loserville. Finally, I began to blame the Saints for making me so miserable. It was my therapy. I never forgave them. Now, I ridicule them for 2 reasons. 1. to keep them at arms length and 2. because they are losers. This promise they are showing is fools gold. 2007 was the final straw. Those bastards got my hopes up again...got me interested. Then they pulled the GD rug out from under my feet like Lucy pulls the football from Charlie Brown. The sooner everyone understands that the Saints are evil, the better off they'll be.
