Slow start, but its looking like a typical prime timer in the Dome now. Opening drive of the 3rd will tell us a lot about the 2nd half. Drew Brees....104 yards needed to hit 50,000 for the career.
Saints receive 2nd half kickoff. Does Colston look kind of out of it to anyone else? Obviously he's playing hard because he's got the 2 touchdowns. He's kind of low key normally, not a high energy trash talker. But he seems almost like he's playing this game in his sleep with his demeanor. Not that I'm complaining. Just wondering if it looks that way to anyone else.
If Les Miles would have elected to take a play resulting in 2nd and 3 instead of a penalty resulting in a 1st and 5 he would have been run out of town and called a billion different names. All coaches make gaffes.
Uh, why did Payton just decline a defensive holding for a 7 yard gain on the play??? Gave the Saints 2nd and 3 instead of 1st and 10? And of course they didn't convert and had to punt. Did I miss something????
Les fucks a lot of thing up, but even he knows better than that. A head scratcher that killed the drive. WTF?
