Defense gives ground like they were the French army on the opening series, but stiffen up inside the 10 and force the Cats to settle for 3. The veteran d-lineman we brought in for depth this week lasted about 4 plays before he got his lower leg rolled up. Looked ugly. Oh, you who's name I didn't even catch, we hardly knew ye.
Michael Thomas, 5 receptions and a TD on the opening drive...first time this year we've had the lead?
My big worry going into this game was that we have no one that can match up with Christian McCaffrey. He had 25 yds on 5 touches on the opening drive.
Panthers again get chunks of yardage, but the defense forces another FG. Ken Crawley is in Lattimore's spot; and he obviously needs to be ahead of Harris on the depth chart.
P.J. Williams' interception sets the table for a Brees-to-Coleman TD. Up 14-6, and finally seeing a little sense of urgency from the Saints.
About time. The Saints have existed since 1967 and shown very little urgency except for a couple of good years and a Superbowl
I was hoping he'd score in this game. He should've had another one earlier when he was wide open and Brees overthrew him. Now, if the defense can just hold up.
