NEW ORLEANS - With no progress in a new contract with Drew Brees, the New Orleans Saints are looking at the possibility of adding another quarterback to the team.

No doubt, what the hell are they waiting for, he is only the greatest player to ever wear a Saints uniform.

as for bringing in another QB, we should have done that a while ago. Daniel and Canfield are both 25, i feel much safer having a seasoned veteran at back-up QB like we did with Mark Brunell in 2008-2009

 

Seems almost like Brees doesn't want to be associated with the tarnished image of the organization, or maybe it's just my paranoia.

 

If Brees signs a long term deal, Who Dat nation will be as positive and upbeat as ever this year with a bit more intensity (which hopefully carries over to the field). If Brees refuses to sign the tag or can't reach a long term agreement, it's over.

 

I agree, they need to get Brees the deal already and move on with the season. It will NOT be the same without Brees. I like Chase Daniel, but I'm not sure he can pull it off. I wish someone would make a decision on something.
