Obviously they probably have to win out and most certainly would have to beat Atlanta today. I see both wildcards coming from the NFC South, the best conference in the NFL. Dallas will lose 3 of their last 4, finishing a disappointing 9-7. Washington will finish 9-7 as well. So it appears the Saints will have to win out and finish 10-6, especially with Atlanta already sitting at 8 wins. Atlanta has 3 tough games in a row and could finish 9-7 as well. My projection is for the Saints to lose to Chicago and Carolina and finish up at 8-8, sadly. A wasted season of a fantastic offense. Hopefully Gibbs will be fired after the season is over. I don't expect it, however. Sean Payton suffers from Carl Smith Syndrome.
LOL, I thought the thread was a dig from a few years back! Its ashame all that talent goin to waste...
It ain't over until the Saints are officially eliminated. How does that expression go? It ain't over until . . . Grady Jackson successfully shuts down a Chinese buffet? Anyway, PodKATT, this ex-pat would still like to watch the last four games of the season. Please make it possible, good sir! P.S. - The Falcons being ahead of the Saints in the standings makes me angry like the Hulk.
We need to win the last four or lose the last four. The worst case scenario is 9-7 or 8-8. We have a very slim chance at the playoffs but would be eliminated early as we have no defense or running game. If we finish 6-10 we could have a top ten pick in the draft and get a good S, CB, LB, or RB. I don't think we have a second round pick, so we'll need to pursue free agency to correct the defense. We need help at safety bad!
1st series for the Saints and once again they can't do anything on 3rd and short. 1st series for the Falcons and the Saints once again can't tackle. Jason David needs to be cut...no and, ifs, or buts
Who can I jinx into making a play now? David seems like a nice guy but he can't tackle, is often out of place, and when he makes an occasional play we keep hoping he'll turn it around but then blows it again. Bush ran up the middle for more than one yard!!! Miracle!!!
I think the Falcons got away with a little P.I. on second down. Colston was staring down the ref for good reason.
