Clair scoffed at me when I posted that Crayton was a better receiver than T.O. Of course you're gonna catch a ton of passes when their thrown your way almost every time, but when you're dropping about 12-15 percent of them, that doesn't make you a great receiver. Far from it. So many of his drops were critical (NY Giants loss at home, Washington loss on road, etc).

Dallas should just cut him from the team (can't relegate him to the bench because this cancer will attempt to spread itself throughout the lockeroom).

Crayton and Glenn are sufficient wideouts to go along with a very good running game.

They usually select 4 WRs (2 Starters, 2 reserves) per conference for the probowl... I agree with your top 3. Colston will probably need to beat out TO, Darrel Jackson, Boldin, and Torry Holt for that final spot.

That is correct. I think Jackson provides the biggest obstacle now that Hasselbeck is playing well.

T.O. leads the league in drops and alligator arm attempts (loved the one from last night's game). Just wish the gift TD to the Cowboys would have landed in Glenn's hands instead.

Id like to see reggie and colston make it with brees but thats not likely. charles grant is playing like a man possessed and playing for a new contract. I sure hope they open the checkbook for him. Will Smith played his ass off last night and got 2 sacks even though he wasnt near 100%. they obviously wanted that game.

the pro bowl is somewhat like the all star game in MLB though not near as extreme since a football career is much shorter. develop your reputation then you are a perennial selection. holt, favre, etc always go. faneca has made like 5 or 6. mcnabb and culpepper are usually there but i think u can count them out. horn wont make it and hes the usual saint pick. maybe there's room for more new faces than usual. holt is likely a lock and I think has been the best receiver in the NFC since jerry rice. though Im not sure what hes done this year since i havent seen many rams game.

the beer man is one of the best punt returners in the game but devin hester the rookie deserves it and will be the special teams selection.

On the gift touchdown to Owens (the "cast" play I call it), Charles Grant can be seen totally obliterating the right tackle and running back who was helping out to block in one fell swoop and forced Romo to throw early (and errantly). That was beautiful to watch. Grant made the Cowboy players look like rag dolls on that play.

Well said. I think Colston will, if not already, be better than TO because of his attitude towards the game. Colston catches everything in sight, unlike TO; goes across the middle to make a big catch, unlike TO; doesn't complain or criticize teammates, unlike TO.....i think you can see where I'm going with this. If Colston doesn't get hurt, he will be the best WR in football in a very short time.

I think the Saints possibles for the Pro Bowl are:

    Brees - no brainer
Bush - 3 more electrifying games and I can't see how he doesn't make it
Colston - needs to finish with a flurry
McCallister - needs 3 more hundred yard games to be in the mix (Dunn/Taylor hurt)
Faine - who is decidedly better at center in the NFC?
Brown - who is decidedly better at tackle in the NFC?
Karney - now in the running with that 3 TD performance

Smith - 1/2 a sack from the leader Peppers for the NFC lead
Grant - has 6 sacks, needs to up that total to about 9 or 10 to have a chance
Thomas - was a definite until his suspension, very sad
McKenzie - I think he needs 2 or 3 more picks to get serious consideration

Carney - Gould has it rapped up barring a collapse, otherwise Carney has a chance

Hasn't been since 91/92 seasons when the entire Saints linebacking crew (all four) had a legit shot at making the Pro Bowl has so many players put themselves in position to make the Pro Bowl.
