    Saints at NFC West winner
    Saints at Chicago
Saints vs Green Bay at the Superdome for the NFC CG

I think Green Bay stands a good chance at going into Philly and then Atlanta and winning both games. They must of course beat Chicago tomorrow, but by the time the game starts at 4:15 EST, the Bears will know the game is meaningless for them as their #2 seed is all that is possible for them. With Green Bay's defense being so good, they do not want to get anyone injured, especially their QB who has already had a concussion earlier in the year.

The Bears offense is anemic (averaging 282 yards per game since game 2 of the season) and is 30th overall in the NFL. They don't run the ball well (3.8 ypc) and their QB is mistake prone (enter GW's high pressure defense to cause those mistakes). Their defense is solid but still not what they had back in 2006 when Brees had all sorts of problems against them. Of course, we are much better equipped offensively than in 2006.

I think that is the big game to get past and if we do, then I cannot see us losing to Mike McCarthy in the NFC CG. He is a god awful game manager and I expect him to goof things up for his team.

    "likely path" not "predicted path"

    the subtlety means everything

So instead of predicting it, you're stating it?

GB is not as good as you make them out to be but if it means us hosting the NFC CG, I hope that's the case.

GB is being held back by that idiot McCarthy. Nobody mismanages a game worse than him. He stands in the Packers' way.

I thought the same thing, except I have a real hard time believing that the Saints will beat Chicago in Chicago.

Nah, I would rather play Atlanta in a dome. Than Chicago at Soldier field.

Agreed, the Saints aren't built for outside in the cold. We don't have a solid enough run game to be effective. Trying to live by the pass could end up in utter failure in the possible climate we could face in Soldier Field. No thanks, give me the Falcons in a dome any day.

Given both games were real close, I think that the Saints would come out on top.
