do you hear that sound? that is the beginning of the season going down the drain.

i sure hope they can recover, but damn, that dude is good at protecting Brees.

Hopefully Strief or Bushrod can come in and play well, but they can never fully replace Jammal Brown, besides Brees this was the one guy that we could have gone down.

I just found out that it is just a bone bruise! I am friends with Matt Baker the new QB from UNC, who is in camp with the Saints. And he said that it is just a bone bruise and it'll be okay! :thumb:

    Bone bruise confirmed:

"NewOrleansSaints.com has learned from Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager that Saints Pro Bowl left tackle Jammal Brown has suffered a bruised right knee. The results of an MRI taken this morning show that there is not any structural damage to his knee.

The Saints are going through their afternoon practice and NewOrleansSaints.com will be in attendance following practice to speak to Saints head Coach Sean Payton.

At this time, there is not a definitive period set forth as to how much time Brown is expected to miss, however the report is certainly a best-case scenario for the Saints. "

Well now they can't use this injury as an excuse if they flop this season. Don't get me wrong I am a die hard Saints fan and want a great season but history tells me otherwise.
